The Historical Society feels that this barn is especially important given the rich Dutch history of the region. Currently the barn has been disassembled documented and stored in anticipation of its reconstruction. This whole area even just the name Saugerties it all comes from a Dutch word said Block. Block said You can t have life i! n the home without life in the barn. It was the source of life where they cared for crops and animals. These events have consistently attracted tourists as well as interested community members. Reconstructing the barn has not been an easy task however. The plan is not to place the barn on the site of an existing structure of the property. Despite being underground the Society would like to preserve the foundations because of their historical significance. However the people of this town couldn t care less about a barn. They are paying for so many things that they don t want now. They are so over taxed that there is NO chance that they will pay for this barn. They are tired ofbeing asked to pay for anything. With all the things that should be done in Saugerties this barn is the last. I will not give a dime. Thai hunt intensifies for Canadian wanted for alleged sex abuse

is accused of sexually abusing an eight year old boy in Thailand. whom they issued an arrest warrant for in connection with the sexual abuse of an eight year old. On Thursday police released new details about the case and a chronology of events. Thai investigators say that on Saturday night at about p. the boy went to a Pattaya shopping mall to meet some friends. Pattaya is a city known for its brothels and other sex industry venues. Police said after the boy left the mall he went down to city s gay district. At about midnight a man allegedly approached a group of boys playing around a swimming pool police said. Investigators allege that the man tried talking to them but the boys didn t understand his English. That man allegedly offered the use of his apartment for the encounter police said. Police said that according to a statement from the boy the man asked him to perform oral sex. Police said the alleged encounter lasted for about an hour between a. m ! according to the boy.
